Aloha Beaches! Hawaii bound! So I am fortunate enough to have my younger brother living in Waikiki, HI. Waikiki if you don't know is located in Honolulu in Oahu. Oahu is the most populated island of all the Hawaii islands and Waikiki is the center of it all. Shopping, restaurants, bars, beaches, hiking, it has it all! It is literally where you go to vacation and I get to Iive here for 2 months, wee!!  If you plan on staying here for any amount of time I recommend buying/renting a moped. It is so much fun to drive as the temps are always perfect, most everything is very close, and most importantly of all parking is a B#$%$.  I bought one on craigslist for $500 and sold it in 2 months for $500 with ease. I also bought a surf board and sold it same price also.  Craigslist.org is awesome, learn to use it for anything and everything, but beware there is no company that monitors the sales so use your head. I began my Hawaii trip like anyone normal human should, with lots of Mai Tais! I used Waikikimenus.com to find the best happy hours and began my libations. Must tries are fresh Poke, Hawaiin BBQ mixed plates, Loco Mocos, and Malasadas.  There is plenty of typical mainland food but when in Rome right?
